LEADERS FOR TODAY HIRES COO; HEALTHCARE EXECUTIVE JEFF SOUZA JOINS COMPANY

Leaders For Today, LLC, a leading provider of interim executive placement services to the healthcare industry, announced today that Jeff Souza has joined the firm as Chief Operating Officer.

Souza brings to Leaders For Today a 28-year track record of leadership with successful start-ups.  His experience covers both healthcare and life sciences, across roles that include medical, clinical, nursing, laboratory science, human resources/staffing and consulting.

Souza comes to Leaders For Today from i3 Pharma Resourcing (Waltham, Massachusetts), an Ingenix company and division of United Health Group.  The company is a publicly held provider of clinical research staffing and project outsourcing services to the pharmaceutical biotech, medical device, contract research organization, academic and hospital research sectors. During his five years at i3, Souza served in multiple capacities, most recently as Vice President, the Americas.

Prior, Souza served as Vice President of Business Development for ClinForce, Inc., a division of Cross Country/Trav Corps in Boston, Massachusetts.  The company is a publicly held provider of professional clinical research staffing and project outsourcing services to the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, contract research organization, academic and hospital research sectors.

Souza reports to Roger Payne, Chairman of the Board of Leaders For Today.  “I’m just delighted that a healthcare leader of Jeff’s caliber has joined our management team,” Payne noted.  “Jeff’s base of experience and skills was the perfect match for our needs as we continue to grow at a very rapid pace.”
